Why This Program Specifically?

PROBLEM: I can't find a reputable studio in town to attend a live training and traveling for weekend long seminars can be extremely costly and tricky to get time off of work.

CB BARRE SOLUTION: Pay a nominal one time fee and complete the course in the comfort of your own home, on your own schedule. 

PROBLEM: Cramming all of the seminar hours into one or two weekends not only leaves your brain with information overload! It's simply not possible to expect quality, thoughtful instruction to come from a brief explanation of the exercises and choreography.

CB BARRE SOLUTION: Most online courses simply shoot you an email with the training manual. We give you countless hours of video instruction so you can see it in real life. This allows you to go back to watch and read the material as often as you need to feel confident in your teaching.

PROBLEM: Alright, feeling pretty good about most of the information, but yikes, what if I have a few questions before doing the test out that I can't figure out from the manual or video modules? 

CB BARRE SOLUTION: We take pride in our support! You get unlimited email and phone support throughout the whole process :) Your teaching is only going to be as good as we can communicate and provide you with the proper information. We want you to feel completely comfortable and confident with all of the material. 

PROBLEM: There is a Barre studio in town that I can do a certification through, but they want me to sign non-compete contracts and only represent their brand.

CB BARRE SOLUTION: With Coastal Body's Barre Certification Program you can take it with you! We absolutely do not believe in limiting you behind a franchise brand. This is your time to shine. It is our goal to provide you with the tools to teach in any gym or studio setting. Some of our previous instructors have gone on to create successful lifestyle brands and even opened up their own brick and mortar studios.

1. What Happens Once I Sign Up?

You will receive three emails. One is your receipt of purchase from Squarespace. The second one is also from Squarespace with your downloadable .pdf Barre Manual. The third is from me - Lauren@CoastalBody.com, be sure to add me to your contacts so I don't get mixed in with the spam folder. This email lays out the entire program. It includes all of your video modules, as well as an initial intro video to help show you the syllabus and layout of the program.

2. Can I do this program if I'm more of a Barre novice than Barre expert?

That's the great thing about doing the program online. You can take all the time you need with the manual, video modules and as many practice hours as you need before testing out. Our live trainings are condensed intensively over two weekends, so this is a much better approach if you are new to instructor training programs.  

3. Do I need any special exercise equipment?

Everything you need is very easy to come by at your local Wal-Mart, Target, Sporting Goods store or Amazon. You can find all the things you need on this link. For the basics to start with make sure you have: 2lb, 3lb, 5lb weights, a small playground ball, either a sturdy piece of furniture or the free standing barre on the list above.

4. How do I schedule a Zoom session?

5. How do I play the videos?

The videos will play directly off of your web browser with the password protected link you will receive upon purchase.

6. How do I adjust the volume on the videos?

You can either adjust the volume using the controls on your computer, laptop, phone, or tablet or click the microphone on the video screen.

7. How do I view the videos in full screen?

In the bottom right corner of the video, you will see a white rectangle. Click that rectangle to make the video full screen.

8. How do I cancel my order/what is your refund process?

Because this is a digital product, you will have seven days to cancel your purchase. All of the education is copyrighted under intellectual property so you will not be able to continue teaching or using the Coastal Body material.

If you encounter any issues canceling your account, please contact us immediately.

If you paid via a debit card and your transaction results in an overdraft or other fee from your bank, you alone are responsible for that fee.

10. Can I download any of the videos?

No. Classes on Coastal Body Virtual Studio stream through the Coastal Body website and are not downloadable.
